I think everyone does some compromises at the beginning especially with strategies for manual trading. In algo trading is much harder to mess up, but if the emotions are too strong it might get ugly with huge lots, many EAs in small account etc.

Nice to see you writing in the Forum, it is great to learn from your experience. I have built a similar system to yours but I want to test well before I share. 🙂
I keep trading 0.01 and just building more EAs. I think this is the easiest and smartest way.
As Petko says, you better diversify your number of EAs, and trade smaller lots as 0.01.
So for example instead of having 0.1 lot for on EA, I prefer to have 10 different EAs for this currency pair with 0.01
This way I will catch more possibilities on the market, and I will lower the risk.

Great to see your results. I am still testing the Trading Portfolio Expert Advisors, but actually, I compared the results and they are very similar.
I am still afraid to go on a live account with them, even I trade regular EAs on live.

yes, it takes time. And it depends a lot on how much time you will spend on it.
When I started algorithmic trading with the strategy builders I was spending only few hours on Sunday to generate the EAs and leaving them for trading during the week. This was because I worked on two places and had to take care of my family.
After that I stopped one of the jobs and had 1 hour per day for it. When results came, I quit and decided to do spend the whole time on it 🙂
Of course this all was long time, that is why I say it depends on the time you spend on it. If you spend the whole day from the beginning, for sure you will get results faster.
Regarding the EAs, I said that the more EAs you have in your live account, you will see less difference in your monthly performance. And this is if you diversify the EAs will.

I have not stopped using the EA Studio even for a day. I just did not look at the forum. And because i was looking at the other forum of forexsb for the updates in EA Studio, I decided to check if Petko has updated somehow, and I was very surprised the other topic where he started to upload videos about the updates in EA Studio. Because in the other forum they are written, but much better to watch video from Petko, because I know he tested it all before recording the video. 🙂
I do algo trading now full time, I get stable results, but yes, it happens to have bad months. That is normal. Just as all strategies have stagnation, it is normal to have stagnation when trading EAs.
Now, I can tell you that the more you diversify, the bigger number of EAs you trade, the more stable results you will have, the less negative months will be there.
I am so happy with EA Studio too! Changed my life, I have time for all, for my family! Petko is the man! 🙂

I have experience with EA Studio since the time it was launched(before that was only FSB Pro).
I can say that EA Studio is a must in algorithmic trading. I have about 5 years of experience in EAs, and I divide it all on two periods.
First was the time when I started to try coding EAs and buying EAs which were expensive. Never ended with a good result.
Second is when I found FSB Pro and EA Studio later on. Put my things together. Tested EAs for nearly year before going to live accounts, and saved some money. Now for the last one year I do this full time, so I can say that EA Studio and FSB Pro changed my life a lot!
I do not have a boss over my head, I do not have working time, I take holidays whenever I decide, and most important I have time for my family now!
So, how satisfied I am with EA Studio, from 1 to 100, definitely 101 🙂
