    Hi Traders,

Week of March 24, 2024 through March 30, 2024. The following are the sixth week results of trading 10 Expert Advisors (EA) I created using EA Studio. These Expert Advisors where then traded on my second Infinity Forex Fund (IFF) 100K Algo Evaluation account. I analyzed the results this week using FXblue where I sorted this past weeks trading results by the “Net pips” column from most pips gained this past week to most pips lost. I then looked at the Net Profit column to determine profits and losses for the week. The following are the results along with the changes made for trading next week:

USDCAD: USDCAD was the top performer this past week. I have increased its lot size from 0.01 to 1.6 lots and will trade it this next week.

EURJPY: EURJPY Moved into second place this past week. I will continue to trade it next week.

GBPUSD: GBPUSD Came in third place this past week. I have increased its lot size from 0.01 to 0.56 lots and will trade it this next week.

USDCHF: USDCHF Moved into fourth place this past week with a small profit. Even though this Expert Advisor posted a small profit this last week it also had big losses and will have its lot size reduced to 0.01 lots to reduce risk of additional losses this next week.

NOTE 1: AUDUSD, NZDUSD, EURUSD, GBPJPY, EURGBP, USDJPY all had losses this past week. They will all have lot sizes reduced to 0.01 lots and will continue to be traded this next week.

NOTE 2: In the past weekly reports I was thinking this was a two phase challenge to get funded. Under that assumption I would have only needed to have a profit of $8000 to move to the second phase of the challenge. However, this challenge is actually a one step challenge to get funded. This means I must reach a $10,000 profit to get funded. Sorry for the error on my part!

TOTAL ACCOUNT RISK: The total account risk for trading this next week will be 2.0% to reduce chance of drawdown due to the majority of Expert Advisors not being profitable at the moment. This account will not increase risk beyond 3%.

This first chart shows the trading results for this past week:

This chart shows trend line of the cumulative profit this week:

This chart shows the statistics of this account since inception:

    Hi Traders,

Traders Connect should be finished with the beta test of their trade copier between Metatrader and DXtrade on April 7th. This means traders will be able to start using this copier. However, be aware that beta versions might still have some software bugs that need to be fixed. The final release has not yet ben scheduled! This is not a recommendation, I am just sharing information I have received!

    Hi Konstantino,

All the Prop Firm robots have been tested over the last five years and found to be profitable with the current settings. However, the trader is always able to change the settings at their own discretion.

    Hi Gareth,

Interesting! According to the EA Studio About tab the developer says Internet Explorer is not supported and will not work!

    Hi Gent,

The Prop Firm robots normally open about one trade each day on average. So just give it a day or two to see how many trades you get.

    Hi Ahmed,

I am happy to hear you are looking to create profitable Expert Advisors! Can you share with us how you are creating your Expert Advisors like what settings, etc you are using in EA Studio? Others who are using EA Studio would be interested in how you are creating your Expert Advisors and can be beneficial for their success as well.

    Hi Boyan,

Yes the EAs can only work on MetaTrader.

    Hi Boyan,

If you are not in the United States MT4 it is still available right now. MT4 is not available in the US. I have to wonder how much longer MT4 will be available at FTMO outside US. Also, some of the prop firms are no longer allowing US traders. The prop firm business is in a state of change and has not yet matured.

I know trade copier developers are working on MetaTrader to DXtrade apps but I don’t know of any at the moment. I have been researching for them myself. There are trade copiers between MetaTrader and cTrader and some prop firms are moving to ctrader.

    Hi Boyan,

Please note FTMO does not allow copy trading between MetaTrader and their DXtrade accounts. Right now FX2 does allow copy trading. However, I have seen the trend where when one prop firm stopped allowing MetaTrader others started doing the same and you are seeing the results. I have to wonder if a similar trend will eventually occur in using trade copiers.

    Hi Gregor,

The best way to determine which robots to trade is to look at them with the Y1 selected. This will show you how the robots have been performing over the last one year. Notice the robots go through periods of stagnation and drawdown. What you also want to look at is the overall trend line. You want to concentrate on those robots that have an upward sloping trendline. Next would be to see how often they trade by looking at the “Count of Trades” You can now divide that number by 52 to see how many trades are taken in one week. Next look at the upper right hand corner of the chart for each robot. What you want to see is the trendline moving in an upward direction. These are the robots you would want to select for trading as they show current profitability. Right now I see XAUUSD M5, XAUUSD M15, XAUUSD M30 that meet the criteria. I also see EURAUD M30, USDCAD M5 moving in a sideways direction or stagnation period. Eventually these robots will most likely continue to trad in a upward direction so I would watch this one one a daily basis. If it starts to move higher then it would be a candidate for trading. I also see AUDUSD M15 has most likely completed its drawdown and is starting to move upward. As soon as this robot makes a new higher high it will become a good candidate for trading so I would also watch this robot on a daily basis. Hopefully is gives you a good idea on how I would select these robots for trading. Keep an eye on each robot on a daily basis and when the robots start moving higher or has made a new higher high consider them tradable candidates. Also with the robots you decide to trade watch them on a daily basis and if they start to move lower like AUDCHF M30 or GBPAUD M30 I would close out any open trades and replace them. Hopefully, this description will give you some good ideas on how to trade the robots.
