Hey Alan,
Such an update was recently launched. You can see what percentage is the SL or the TP.
I asked Mr. Popov about it sometimes, and he fulfilled the wish. But it’s not all the time. :)

Hey Taylor,
This is probably because you did not have that much Historical data on MetaTrader.
EA Studio offers data for 200 000 bars so your backtest there was for a longer period.
You can check how much data you have on MetaTrader if you press the home key and use the cross-hair to spot the first date.
So basically, you tested the strategies for a longer period in EA Studio and for a shorter period on MetaTrader.

It depends as well on the SL and TP ranges.
Put it on a Demo for a few days, and you will see how it would work for you.
But trading $1000 account with a few EAs (max 10) set at 0.01 lot is just fine, in my opinion. Of course, they should have SL.

Welcome to the Academy and the Forum. Yes, I update the EAs from time to time (when it is needed).
And the true valie is the one you see in the file you download. Once, the video is uploaded on YT we can’t really change the content. We can only change the description, so I take advantage of that to update the EA.

Hey Alan,
Thanks for the clarification. :) I passed a challenge myself and did my best to record a few videos about it. I will publish one tomorrow, I hope it helps, but it is for manual trading. I am working now on algorithmic trading, and I will surprise you with something shortly.
Have you followed the steps from some of my videos that I show the process? It works quite easily by the way… I am surprised you had an issue.
