- How is this Robot different to the previous version?
- It trades on the M1 Chart using the Envelopes
- There is a Higher Time Frame filter (MACD on M15)
- Option to add to the position
- Spread & Account protections

Please make it more transparent what you mean by ”EA Studio failed”. EA Studio is not an EA but a tool we use to create and automate EAs. Do you mean you generated EAs using EA Studio and you put them on a challenge?
The robot performs smoothly and now when FTMO removes the 30-day period for the challenge it gets even easier to pass with it because we are not limited in time.

This is how MetaTrader works, not the EAs from EA Studio or any other EA.
If you have a Robot attached on MT and want it to trade all the time, you need to keep MT connected to your broker’s server. Which means that you need to have your computer running all the time.
A solution is to use a VPS but that is an extra cost.

You may have noticed that the EURUSD has been very ”trendy” recently and that is why I updated the Bollinger Bands parameters in the FTMO Robot.
I use now Period 26 and Deviation 0.20.
I uploaded the new version as a resource to the course or you can update the one you have on the MT by entering the new parameters.

Yes, Alan is right. I explained that in one of my videos for the Waka Waka on Funded account.
The chances of passing a Challenge with Waka Waka are less than 30% because you will have to increase the risk, which might lead to more significant drawdown that will break the rules of 5% daily.
However, a funded or live account is quite suitable.

Glad to hear from you. I can share how it performed on the FTMO-funded account. Please, see the screenshot below:
However, I use it with very low-risk settings to stay within the 5% drawdown.
Now, I am placing it in $1500 live account and I will update you with the results.
The EA has had some loses recently because the EURUSD is very trendy but definitely not from March.
Can you share how you are doing the backtest? Do you Open prices only as a model?

I think what John was doing is to download the EAs from the collection, not the collection itself.
So if you want to download the collection only, make sure to click the 3rd option in the dropdown manu:

I am not really sure if I understand you…you are using the EA but you want to set the entry price yourself?
In the course, and in my videos I show what amount I trade in the 10k challenge.
It is up to every trader what amount one would use in a challenge or trading account. But if you decide to follow my trading you can see what amount I use in the 10k challenge, I think it is very basic math to calculate with how much to trade in an account with a different size.

The new EAs are found in the same lectures (attached as resource files).
You can always test the strategies on a Demo/Virtual account first.
