I spoke about EA Studio. I said, the “Metatrader-Demo” data history from it was not updated since 16.02. There is a few days missing data informations (at least in H1). But anyway, I clarified all with Mr. Popov, it was a system error .
And he also shared to me that “MetaTrader-demo” source will be available for only 1 more month. Later, will be only the “Premium Data” source available.
But, I think you already know all of this 🙂
have a nice weekend!
mentosanParticipantMy Broker is Dukascopy, from where is also the Premium Data. Look :

I use normally the Metatrader-Demo data history with JFD. The Backtesting in MT4 is exactly the same one from EA Studio.
Today I asked Mr. Popov about the future of Metatrader-Demo and he told me that in one month the Metatrader-Demo will not be available anymore. Now, I’m searching the perfect Broker for the Premium Data. I have the feeling that the Premium Data is not from Dukascopy because are some differences. Please be so kind and tell us also the Broker which fits Premium Data.
Thanks
mentosanParticipantThere is a difference in bar values and 2H between Premium Data and Dukascopy. I’m not sure that Premium Data is from Dukascopy.
mentosanParticipantThanks Petko

I run the EA Studio in Chrome on a PC which is running in a separate room and I access it through the remote desktop. When I’m remote it, there is no problem, EA Studio is working very well but when I go out it is not working anymore. Of course, EA Studio is staying all the time activated on the screen. Anyway, if I use Microsoft Edge, I have no problem with EA Studio.
mentosanParticipantThank you Ilan, you are very kind.

how is it going to this account?
cheers

mentosanParticipantHi Ilan,
do you still keep these rules?
cheers

mentosanParticipantHi Petko, Hi Simon,
I personally don’t find any particular reason to change the 100 strategies from a demo account on short and medium time. If I am able to gather more EAs, I will open a second demo account in which I will use the new EAs. Also for more EAs will be created the demo3, demo4, and so on. All the time I will make also an update into FX Blue’s portfolio where I have all the demos listed, in order to gather the most profitable EAs from all the demos.
cheers…

after a long time only reading this very interesting forum, I decided to create an account and to join you because it seems to me that here can I find really nice and intelligent people…
Mr. Petko, I’ve seen you try to make 50% profit per month. I’ve also seen your EAs build in the 15M and 1H timeframes, but for sure you are most focused on just one timeframe. Or let’s say you prefer one time frame and are trying to make 50% profit/month more on one time frame than the other. Can you please clarify this aspect for us as well, in what time frame you are trying to achieve a profit of 50% per month?
thanks
