You’re right, we’ve covered a lot of subjects here 😅
The differences in live accounts were only on EA Studio, where I was testing my portfolio to explain my case here, I never tried same EAs on different accounts. For my curiosity, I’ll come back to all these questions afterwards. But my primary goal now is to prove myself that the system is reliable, following your steps, because without this assomption, everything else is useless.
So I really can’t wait to check the results this we, hoping that I’ll have enough data to see something interesting 🙂
And to answer your question, my mt4 are running on a virtual machine on a dedicated server in Germany. For my two IC Market live accounts, the average latency is 90-95, but I don’t know it it’s good or bad…

I’ve never thought that time zone could such important here. I naively thought that for most indicators, it’s just a succession of bars where hour has no importance at all.
But I’ll see it very rapidly during my tests :-) And if that’s the case, I’ll have to change the timezone in premium data, that’s it ? I didn’t change any time settings up to now.
If it’s possible, I would prefer to keep working with premium data, because it’s free and it has more bars and up to now I use short time frames. I just change the spread and commission to reflect reality. But with higher time frames, I’ll probably use the broker history to be more precise. Because if I test a system with ICMarket-live10 or ICMarket-live12, I have completely different results. I found that amazing and also disturbing. But may be it’s because I work with short time frames too…Thank you for your concern :-)
It’s not much the money I’ve lost but more the idea that the system could not work that gives me more despair. Because I had so much faith in it and I really fell in love with the process.
As you assure me that the system works fine, I’ll really try to find out what is the problem. It can be fun too and I’m sure I’ll learn a lot in the process.
I’ll test 8 EAs. 2 with trailing stop and 2 without on two different pairs. And as soon as I get enough data to work with, I’ll come back with the results :-)
And to answer your question, I don’t have any preferences for trend following. I use these parameters because with all the tests that I’ve made up to now, they give me the best and stable results.

To be honest I’ll only be reassured when I’ll find my error or when I’ll see with my eyes that the system correspond with reality, but I’m happy that my message has been posted on the forum and that assure me that the system is not scam or dream seller.
I didn’t talk about the way I’ve calculated the strategies because in my opinion, it was not relevant concerning my issue. Whatever the system, the results should match. Of course not to the cent, but not with these differences.
I’ve watch a lot of Petko’s videos, here and on Udemy (where I first heard of this software), but not all, I must confess :-)
In this case, the collection has been build on GBPJPY 5m, with only trailing stops 1->250 (may be that’s the problem) and no TP, with all available data from premium and my acceptance criteria were more than 100 positions and a profit factor >= 1.2. I used the reactor with everything checked except multi market. The software calculated more than one week and I build a collection of 300 filtered with best net profit. I think that more than 1000 strategies were pruned by the software to get this 300 collection.
With that collection, I’ve created two portfolios:
1: 20 best system quality number
2: the stategies that passed multi market validation in validator (in my case 26)Of course your right with your two points. I’m not ready to trade live and I must analyse the situation with one ea at a time to get my confidence back. With portfolio, it’s merely impossible to really check backwards what happened.
I’ll do that this week and I’ll share my results :-)

OK…NO I have a question. Should I do the analyze every day? Or Every second day? Probably the weekly is not that what is needed to be successful.
I did it yesterday evening. From 99 EA’s I have already nic data. Monthly performance I was able to choose 10 EA’s with over 10 trades with over 100 EUR net profit and profit factor over 2.00 which is really good. For weekly performace there were EA’s with over 3 trades Profit factor over 1.4 and net profitover 50EUR….well as top 5 there were 4 EA’s as EUR/USD which I lowered to 2 best of them that makes top 3 of 99 EA’s The top 3 right now #87543211 / #87513216 / #86879152
From Ilans EA’sthe conditions are little bit lower because there a lot of H1 EA’sBut still monthly I have over 100EUR net profit over 2.00 Profit factor and over 5 trades.
Weekle at least 3 Trades and PF over 1.4 but here I will take in consideration all EA’s with any profit. Finally I took out 3 of them #48095358 / #51327790 / #48162246
From your Gold EA’s there was no EA with over 1.4 Profit factor so I could not take them considering the fact that also with 0.01 lot thery have still huge SL level which could lower my account down by over 30% per trade if the SL were hit so this will have to wait for far mo data as I have this GOLD demo running for only 2 weeks
FInally I woke up this morning and I found on SHADOW demo closed profit with 5EUR …As I set this accout to my starting 500EUR account this made over night 1%……WHY?
Why on demo is all working great and makes profit…I had this same system on live account and made over 35% losses……
Currently I am learning far mor strategies also for manual trading….also scalping……I set another demo account for this…..so now I am running 7 demo accounts in one computer.
One is 99 EA’s from you….another is weekle EA’s from Ilan…third one is GOLD EA’s from you. Another is my Shadow with top EA’s another is for Manual swing trading and scalping Another 2 I have for my own EA’s created manually from my own strategies in ETASOFT FOREX GENERATOR……
As you can see I really want to make trading my job because I see here a far more financial possibilities and freedom as at my Work where I am too busy to make this in that scale I would like to. Tharefore I am heading to automatic “ROBOT” trading which can trade in time when I am asleep or at work. There are days when I am simply too tired from work to make any trading at evening. So hopefully I will be able to manage this somehow so that I could finally do trading as full time business.
So guys if you read my notes an management don’t hesitate to tell me If I am doing something wrong and what I could make better. You are free to tell me everything because critical notes are those which make us better.

Hello Guys. I did not looked on the performance exactly of every EA. As Mr. Jackson writes I already have shot down the Live account because this was apparently useless.
We had some important events at work so I was not able to do the analyze precisely. I am doing it now. I will let them trade on SHADOW (DEMO as LIVE) and will learn there the process until it really works and makes profit. as thiw bloody war started the markets are going crazy but I saw my 99 EA demos they together made over 3000 EUR profit so this is obviously my and only my mistake. I really feel like an “idiot” because there are lot of great data obtainde from FXblue….I work as internal financial auditor so my kind of organization is really precise but how is that possible I am not able to manage some EA’s to be profitable ? don’t know
Petko: As I stopped to trade those EA I cannot give sou the performance because I went crazy as I wrote this so I just closed the laptop and stopped for several days. the history is there also my losers….I will analyze this and try as Mr. Jackson said on Demo account until this management will really not be profitable on regular basis,……

Hello Guys. I am trading only for a few weeks with robots. Especially when I saw the first course from Ilan. Then I had 99 EA course and GOLD course. all is OK but…. I am struggling with profits…and I am struggling a lot. My losses are far bigger than wins. I do trade TOP5 robots from 99EA course monthly updated by Petko…..but I don’t know. Maybe I am doing some mistake or should I put there in live account more than 5 EA’s I have 6 Demo account running about 250 robots on test. But I still don’t know what to do with them. DO I have some fear to put them over there? DO I something wrong with management or…really don’t know…And I saw the courses several times
Can you tell us more? I am struggling…and have no idea what am I doing wrong. Every single strategy which I analyzed and considered as WINNER….PF over 1.4 more than 5 trades net profit over 100……..this is consecutively loosing no matter what I’m doing…why?
What is happening? cans someone answer that? for 2 days I can not reach any answer….

In addition to Petko’s comment, I would like to add that the switch will happen on the 13th of April 2021 between 10:00 and 13:00 GMT (I expect the whole migration process to take even less time and you will be able to access the new platform quicker). During this time, you will not be able to access the Academy platform or EA Studio. After the migration, once you type the Academy domain you will be redirected to the new domain (eatradingacademy.com).

The problem with the login is fixed. Please try to log in again.
To make login easier, we’ve added a new option that allows students to log in to the Academy using their Facebook or Google profile. If your Forex Academy account is created with the same email address as your Facebook/Google profile, you can log in to your Academy profile, go to “My account” tab and link your Facebook and/or Google profile for easier login without a password in the future.

- We definitely plan to make the Academy available in more languages. Right now we’re preparing a Chinese version and very soon it will be live. So we’re looking for translators for other languages also but the translators should be interested in trading so we can translate the content properly and support the traders in their native language. There is certain terminology that is very specific to Forex and not everyone is suitable to do the job. If you know Polish-speaking people who are interested in Forex trading (of if you’re interested) you can point them to the Forex careers section where they can check the requirements and send us a brief resume.
- I assume you’re talking about the EA Studio software, as the rest of the content can be translated in the Google Chrome browser by clicking the right button of the mouse and then “Translate to THE BROWSER INTERFACE LANGUAGE“. A quick workaround I found for the software translation may be using the TransOver Chrome extension which can be configured to translate when you mark a text or double click on a word. It’s a bit time consuming to do it, so I believe this won’t be useful enough. We will think about making it possible for the software to be translated via Google Chrome build-in functionalities.
- Good idea. I believe Petko will like this also and we will work on this type of content. In fact, we’re currently preparing several articles about the indicators. I think you may also find useful information for the strategy generation and indicators in the EA Studio guides.

Hi Simon, I also saw on youtube that you can install several MT4 or even MT5 from the same broker… I need to watch the video again… I also have a similar problem using Windows 10. It seem the OS don’t want to allow me access to install more than 1 metatrader from the same broker. What version Windows do you use?
