As I recall, there isn’t a tool right now that can easily send trading signals from MT5 to NinjaTrader. Usually, these tools work best within the same system, like moving signals from MT4 to MT5.

In my opinion, you should double-check that the options for “Allow automated trading” and “Allow DLL imports” are ticked in the settings for Expert Advisors. It’s a simple step but it’s really important for making sure your trading robots can do their job.

If your robot is keeping trades open for a few days, it’s probably following a strategy that’s meant for longer-term trading. It should close these trades when they meet certain goals or conditions that were set up in the robot’s programming, like hitting a profit target or stopping a loss at a certain point.

Why did you do that then? You should have started with one by one and see what fits your needs.

If your account doesn’t have enough money or if the way you’ve set up how much you can borrow (leverage) doesn’t match up with the size of trades your bot wants to make, it might not go through with any trades. I had a similar issue once where I set everything up, thinking I was good to go, but then nothing happened. Turned out, I didn’t have enough in my account to cover the trades my bot was trying to make. It’s like wanting to buy a big-ticket item but not having enough in your wallet – the purchase just can’t happen. So, I had to adjust my settings and make sure my account balance was sufficient.

Not bad for some extra income. How many hours did you spend on making that money?
