This is only happening on the dipgate VPS that I have recently started, while trying on my personal system, the backtest ran properly, so I’m still confused on what the issue is. I’ll probably setup something on another VPS and check first.

Update: @Alan, they rejected the EA

@Aaron, I went up and created a demo account with FTMO, but even in that the back test results are the same. 0 trades. I’m very confused now, maybe I’ll try some other EA just to be sure that EAs are working on this account.

Thanks, this was helpful! I have been trying to set this up without any progress. I’ll move to some other prop firm which is suitable for Indians since FTMO has some restrictions for Indian users

Hi Petko, I have setup the EA on my demo account with alphacapitalgroup on meta trader 5, but so far the bots haven’t taken even a single trade. While trying to run backtests, the bots are showing 0 trades. I have followed the exact steps in the video shared by you. Can you pin point the common mistakes that might result in this?

But still, it should have shown some trades for that time period, right? Anyways, I tried for this period and got the same result. I think something is off for my account or bot.

PS: I am new to EAs, so might have made some mistake in the setup.

I ran a backtest on last month for the bots I downloaded, but the backtest shows 0 trades being taken by the bot in that period. And same for last year. Is there something that I might be missing here or have done wrong in the setup? Please guide.
