I tested the robots from top 10 EUR/USD, all of them blow up in backtesting whether it’s short or long period timeframe, I have set all the parameters correct. I don’t know if it is the issue with mt5 or the EA.

Hey Varun,

Can you share some screenshots of how you set the MT backtester?

We usually backtest the EAs for the last five years because on M15, looking further back than 2019 is irrelevant. I can assure you that if you do it properly, none of the EAs will lose on the backtest.

Give me more information: set up, broker, type of account, modeling, or just a screenshot so I can see all of it.

Hi Varun,

Please also let us know the following or send screenshots:

The modelling option you’re using for the backtest.
The leverage of the account
The lot sizes.

 

It’s important to note that the EAs are created with a starting balance of $10K, and trade size of 0.1 lots. I see your account started with $1000, so trading 0.1 lots on this account is very risky.
