I’m self-publishing my first book and exploring printing options. I’ve read about different methods, like offset and print-on-demand (POD), but I’m not sure which one suits me best.

Does anyone have experience with these methods? Are there particular companies you’d recommend for high-quality book printing? I came across Barter. Books Publishers in my research; they seem to offer professional book printing services, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has worked with them.

Additionally, how do you ensure the print quality matches your expectations? Should I request samples before committing to a printing service? Your advice would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in advance!
