I have trades that have been running all week. Is this ok, some went from positive to negative?

Hi,

Currently, I am up +1% in my testing account ($10,000).

However, after reviewing Petko’s audited account titled “FTMO Robot – Top 1 Scale 25k Challenge FPF,” I have a question: Does Petko close positions manually, or does the EA leave them until TP or SL? (https://www.myfxbook.com/members/PetkoA/ftmo-robot-top-1-scale/10494226)

Upon checking the positions, only 1 out of 25 hit TP, and 4 hit SL out of 25. The others were closed, apparently manually, because they neither hit TP nor SL.

When or where should I close the positions (e.g., on Friday afternoon)? Or does the EA close them without hitting TP?

The third trade was taken on 2023/01/02, so there is historical data since January 2023.

I just did a 1y back testing to EURAUD M15 v6.0 #1486211416:

* FMO-robot app (website, 1 year): Profit $2,112
* MT5 (2023/01/01 – 2024/02/02): Profit $1,518

There is a difference of $594. So does the [EURAUD M15 v6.0 #1486211416] have $594 in open trades? I don’t think so, but hopefully, these robots work.

I just bought them yesterday, but there is more discussion about errors than actual experiences from successful founded traders. (This could be a potential review, unless I achieve good results :c)

XAUSD M5 v6.1 claims a profit of $150, but when I tested it on MT5, it only showed $50. Other pairs that I tested showed differences from the results on the FTMO Robot page.

If I use the FTMO Robot, could FTMO (or another prop firm) deny my account?

FTMO says: “They also need to keep in mind that if they use a third-party EA, there may already be other traders using the same EA and, therefore, the exact same strategy. By using a third-party EA, traders run the risk of being denied an FTMO Account because they exceed the maximum capital allocation rule.”

If yes, what can I do? Any recommendations?

Hi, in the FTMO Robot Parameters

Should I adjust the ‘max spread’ parameter based on the currency pair (e.g., AUDCHF says spread of 9, and change the ‘max spread’ parameter to 9), or should I just leave it at 0 (zero), which is the default setting?
