Tagged: Stock Brokers
Hi everyone,
I have looked at some of the well-known stock brokers here in the US, like Interactive Brokers and TD Ameritrade, etc. But they all seem NOT to offer MT4 /MT4.
Does any one know of a good stock broker for US clients that offer MT4/MT5?
Thanks,
Jaylon
Hi Jaylon,
I too live in the United States in the Dallas Texas area. There are four FX brokers that individual traders can use.
Oanda.com: Oanda used MT4. Oanda does not offer much historical data for backtesting and 10 demo accounts and 10 live accounts. Demo accounts do not expire.
IG.com: IG uses MT4. IG does not offer much historical data for backtesting and 3 demo accounts and 3 live accounts. Demo accounts do not expire. IG forex charts have an extention of .FX for U.S. clients. For example EURUSD.FX Both EURUSD and EURUSD.FX show up in the Watch List so make sure you chose EURUSD.FX or trading EA’s will not work. IG.com is not available in Ohio!
Forex.com: Forex.com uses MT4. Forex.com offers the sufficient historical data for backtesting less than 2 years for M1, M5, and M15. Forex.com offers 3 demo accounts and 3 live accounts. Demo accounts expire after 90 days if not being used.
Trading.com: Trading.com uses MT5. Trading.com offers the the most historical data for backtesting. Trading.com offers 1 demo account and 4 live accounts. Additional demo accounts can be obtained upon request. Demo accounts never expire.
Thanks for your reply Alan. But unfortunately, those are not STOCK brokers.
MT4/MT5 is mostly used by Forex brokers!
