Anyone encountered any problems publishing your demo account to Fxblue on a VPS?
I can publish seamlessly using MT4 on my laptop but when I tried it on my VPS running Windows Server 2016, it just doesn’t publish.
Perhaps due to some security settings or blocking of ports by the VPS provider.
(Broker/Server address, Account number and investor/read-only password checked and are correct.)
Anyone managed to resolve this issue?
@dkoh-Hi there! I am running both a live and demo account on VPS Windows Server 2016 through Contabo. There were times when the account would stop account sync on FX Blue and so I just switched to FX Blue publisher EA for my demo accounts and just leave it on account sync for my live account. That was the only way I got around it. But account sync works every now and then for the demo accounts.
I think it is something with the VPS, normally it should work without an issue. It is enough you are connected to the net. Try what Jacpin says.
