Hello dear,
Kindly anyone can explain why there is often big differences between the graph and the report in the mt4 strategy tester? Is it possible that the graph doesnt show the real equity drawdown because the tester doesnt update the graph till closing the position? If so, why the graph draws 2 lines (the balance and the equity). if this is the case, so we can not rely on the strategy tester graph at all, we should look only to the report…
Any answer is appreciated..

Yes, the mt4 strategy tester shows you the equity and balance lines.
In other words, this is the opened and closed trades.
The graph is just to give you an idea of how the strategy went, and in the report, you can see more details.
Anyway, you better use EA Studio backseat, where you have so many details if you go to report, OOS, or the indicator chart itself.
