Account Type: FTMO or FTMO Swing?

Can the EAs work on regular ‘FTMO’ account or would it be better to select the ‘FTMO Swing’ from the start of the challenge? Please advise, thanks.

Hi melzkc,

The EAs can be used with a regular FTMO account but you will have to make sure the EAs do not close any trades during news events and you will need to manually close all trades before the markets close on Friday to avoid violating the rules. It is much better to use the Swing account so you do not need to worry about violating any of the regular account rules.
