Yes, plenty of prop firm, like True Forex funds and Funded Trading plus has forced the UK trader (including US ofcourse) to move to another platform and they (their new broker) have comopletely stopped supporting MT4/5. Some are offering CTrader and others offering DXTrader. The trouble with this, EA from MT4 can’t be used their or can’t be made compatible to use their. However, I heard that it is now possible to do a trade copy from a demo MT4 account to CTrader. Again the demo is not provided by these propfirm, so demo account with any broker and copy those trade to CTrader for prop firm broker.
This will cause slippage and discrepancy, but lets see how far we can go with this. At this moment we dont have a choice but to adopt the new platform. FTMO, they will stop providing MT4/4 broker sooner or later. You watch.
