I was very blind trading on Bitcoin exchange. However, I did it because I was scammed and I looked for a way to avoid the brokers..

Anyway now I know what to do and where to trade.

I take the leverage as opportunity to open bigger positions. Take it as if you are trading 1:1, with 1k you will be able to go the the bank or the exchange and take some other currency. If you trade with CFD, you have the change with 1k to trade bigger amounts.

The Scam brokers are disaster! I was scammed few times, it took me time and money to realize what I do…

anyway, now I feel I am on my feet and having very stable education from Petko.

Hello, you are absolutely right, Jacpin. The best thing would be to test a Demo account with higher leverage, and you can do it 100% same as your live account. This way you will see what will be the different. basically as Petko said, there will be no difference in the performance, but you will see more free margin to trade with.

Higher leverage for us, the algo traders, will be useful if we trade many EAs in small account. I did not see a need to higher the leverage, because I trade small number of EAs on relatively big account(according to me).

I use 1:100 and I feel it is just fine for me.

Jacpin, if you are trading with 0.01, you should not have issues with 1:100 leverage if your account is above or around 1k at least?

You are right, Jordy! What Petko teaches in his classes is just precious. I often blame him that he gives the courses so cheap 🙂 🙂 🙂

That is so useful information Jacpin! I do not think there is a difference if you will go from D1 down to M1 or the other way, because the time frames are not connected in anyway. All wee see is the Open , Close, High, Low values for each time frame.

Just this broker provides a lot of data which is great. I never heard of them. I will check when they started as a broker, because if they are company after 2012, this means that the data would be not real, but they just took it from another broker or liquid provider.

Thank you again for the information. I will check them out.

    Thanks indeed.

    Hi David,

I am using basic Forex VPS with 4 course and 8 Ram + SSD. Sometimes it gets a bit slow, but I do not think it causes problems with the execution of the trades. Just when I have many charts opened, and i click over each, it delays…I asked Petko, he said it is normal.

Now I started looking at desktops as I have calculated that it is a better investment, and I will have fully control over it.

Great topic here. Somehow I have missed the recent posts. So far I am paying for VPS too, I will think about going on desktop computer and placing it all there. I do believe with more powerful one I will be bale to run all of the 4 Meta Traders that I have currently on the VPS.

Hey Jacpin, thanks for the replay. The home key procedure you should do it on all time frames, and not just on D1, shouldn’t you? This way load the bars on all time frames. If it is not a secret, which is the broker you are using? I would like to have a look at it, and if the spreads are good may be switch there. Mine is fine but I have the half data of yours. Only do not place links for the broker, because they will remove it.
    Thank you indeed!
