Which Timezone, or GMT offset, should I use in the Forex Historical Data App settings?  Should I use my local time, as the EA studio will be running on my web browser?  Or should this be the Server time of my broker?

Also, is there a way to search topics in this forum?

It is best to use the timeframe of your broker. Because this is where you will be trading the EAs.

Just download the Historical data in the appropriate time zone and the EAs will be generated accordingly.

      Hi Petko,
When downloading data from Historical Data App, I noticed that the App doesn’t take “Daylight Saving Time” into consideration!
See attached images of 2 reference bars, one is from Friday evening (today) and the other is from 31. July 2020 when the time was in DST.
How big a problem is it?

      Thanks.

PS. Why wasn’t my last question answered? I posted it a week ago and again 4 days ago. Thought that there’s no such thing as a stupid question ;-)

      Hello,

I am preparing historical data for download and import into EA studio for generation of EAs to use with a broker in GMT+3. After selecting the appropriate settings prior to download of the data (200,000 and GMT+3) for the given currency pair that I plan to work with, the price bars do not shift to the appropriate time on the price chart within the Historical Data App, GMT 0 looks exactly the same as GMT+3. Is anyone else having this issue? How do I resolve? I tried accessing the Historical Data App using different browsers and it would not resolve.

Thank you in advance for any help resolving.
