      Hi Petko,

Just a quick question: which broker do you use for historical data on the app? The reason I ask is because, as you’ve mentioned in your courses, we should be using the same broker that we get the historical data from to trade with once the strategies have been created from the historical data.

      Thanks again,

      Ilan

      Hello Ilan,

Yes, it is better to use the same broker because this way you will know that the strategies work on this Historical data.

The broker is Dukascopy, I believe it is written in the description of the app. It is a regulated broker, with a huge history, and we have added it to the trusted brokers’ page as well.

Let me know if you have other questions.

      Cheers,

      Hi,
When I go to “Settings” and choose 200000 bars, then when I go to “Acquisition” and press “Load data” I only get 50000 bars. Am I doing something wrong?

      Best regards

      Jens

      Hello there,

      Glad to hear from you.

Is this with EA Studio or FSB Pro?

There is a limitation in both strategy builders which you need to remove.

For FSB pro go to Control Panel -> Data Horizon -> Max Data Bars

For EA Studio, go to Data -> Data Horizon -> Max data bars

      Cheers,

      Hi,

      1.  A broker I use has the following attributes for swap type ‘in percentage terms’ . Is this equivalent to EA Advisor Studio ‘interest rate’

      2. Contract Size also varies. Is this correct for EA Studio Contract Size and Point Value

      10 contract lot size = 1 x 10 / 100,000 = 0.0001 point
      100 contract lot size = 1 x 100 / 100,000 = 0.001 point
      1000 contract lot size = 1 x 1000 / 100,000 = 0.01 point
      100,000 contract lot size = 1 point

      Thank You

      Hey mate,

      Glad to hear from you.

      1. Yes

      2. The default contract size for Forex is 1 lot = 100 000 EURUSD, for example.

The points are the last digits of the price. If EURUSD is 1.08105, The point is ”5”.
