Running into the same wall every time I test a “cheap VPS hosting” plan: random downtime, throttled CPU, and support tickets that feel like shouting into a canyon. For trading bots and back-testing, a flaky VPS can wreck hours of work.

Has anyone found a balance between affordability and actual performance? I’ve been experimenting with different providers and noticed HostNoc’s entry-level VPS behaves far better than the bargain bin options I’ve tried before. It’s still inexpensive, but bandwidth is stable and latency doesn’t spike during peak hours.

I’d like to hear what features everyone here thinks are non-negotiable for trading (RAM, SSD speed, backup frequency, etc.). Are you prioritizing low cost or guaranteed uptime? I’m leaning toward plans that give consistent CPU share, even if it’s a few dollars more.

What’s your checklist for a VPS that won’t sabotage your strategy mid-trade?
