Good point Alan, how many charts is it on? Or just the one chart for that account?

The developers for Gold Investor have been very helpful for us. I’m sure they have been great for you also.

We’ve had a couple big drawdowns recently with it as the MaxAccountDD was hit, but then into another trade and it was hit again, and lost us a challenge.

Please let us know how it’s going. And feel free to send pics of your settings too. That’ll help us with a full picture of the situation.

Well done Eric in following all the instructions.

Here’s 2 options that might’ve slipped by in the setup.  In the EA setup, or press F7 on the chart with the robot on it, the “Common” tab needs “allow algo trading” to be ticked.

And of course the green box up the top of MT.

The Gold Inv “too many trades” alert will go away. It’s happened to me also. Perhaps when it makes a trade, that alert won’t be necessary.

Can you tell me more? What’s your fastest ping that you’ve worked with?

Which brokers have you used? Have you asked them about slippage?

Can you share some results so I can compare our results with yours and the vendor?

Have you contacted the vendor for clarification?

I’ve had varying results on different brokers, their demo servers compared to their real servers.

Are you trading in demo or with real funds ATM?

And any further info you can offer would be great to assist in finding an answer.

Hi Gent,

The EA should have placed a TP and SL on for the trade, meaning you could let it ride to conclusion, until either one of those is hit, or close it whenever you like.
Your trading style and risk profile is up to you.

Which parameters are you using atm ?

Are you continually running the FSB?
And always using the SL, or TP or Trailling SL?

This is a massive result and well done Andi.

How’s everyone going with their results now?

I’ve had a small $500 demo account reach +20% in a month which is enticing. It’s running the best EAs from an initial round of testing, approx 10 EAs in this 2nd phase of testing as Petko advises.
