    Interesting idea.

When you generate the EAs on EA Studio do you set the ranges of SL and TP only? Or you used something more in the acceptance criteria?

I do not think so because of the FIFO Rule. And the Portfolio EAs open trades with the same lot for the same asset.

You better trade individual EAs so you can trade different assets and different lots for each strategy(on the same asset).

Hey Stefanos, put yourself higher targets. I target 20% monthly.

It took me about 6 months to figure it out, but I am glad I did not give up. EA Studio is a great tool, but in the end, it depends on you how to manage the EAs.

Automated trading has always been a dream for me and it looked impossible since I can’t do any programming and I do not have enough capital to hire good developers.

Using EA Studio for over 6 months now I feel my dream comes true. The last 3 months were profitable for me (Oct just 8%).

EA Studio is super easy to use, but of course I did it all because I watched nearly all the courses from Petko 🙂

    Hey,

I missed this Forex Forum Bonus System, and I will be more active. The Forum is a really great place to share your experience. Many times I found what I am wondering or searching for here before I am asking something. Many users are sharing their knowledge, tricks and experience.

Already, I have many posts, but I need to write more to get one course for free! Thanks for this opportunity!

    Hi George,

I prefer to use online trading courses that include a portfolio of Expert Advisors like How to trade Forex with 100 GBPUSD strategies in the account, Trading Portfolio Expert Advisors + 100 EURUSD strategies monthly. Still, I am really in love with Bitcoin Algorithmic trading in 2020 + 99 Expert Advisors. For me, this is one of the best online trading course from the Academy, and it includes 99 Expert Advisors for trading. Also, these Expert Advisors are updating every month, which is great and useful! Of course, Petko explains how to manage these EAs and how to place them on a live or demo account.

I am sure that you will choose your BEST course for you!

    Cheers!

    Hello George,

I have been using EA Studio and FSB PRO for six months. It is difficult to recommend one of the two because they are different programs. Both Strategy builders but they generate different strategies.

EA Studio works on the bar opening while FSB PRO can open the position inside the bar.

Also, EA Studio has a Reactor which is very useful to create robust and simple strategies. While FSB PRO has the option to create complex strategies with multiple time frames.

So it is up to you what type of Experts you want to use. If you can effort them both, you will be able to create a very nice portfolio of different strategies.

    Cheers!

    Hello Petko,

I am so happy that have free Forex Historical data because my broker provides maximum 5000 bars. I will download the Data for EURUSD and GBPUSD and generate strategies over it! And then I will backtest the Experts over my historical data and see if the results are promising.

Anyway, I will change the broker!

Thanks for the app. It’s safe a lot of time to connect bars.

    Cheers!

    Hello George,

This Bitcoin Algorithmic trading course is updated every month with new 99 Bitcoin Expert Advisors from Petko Aleksandrov. If you want to trade with Bitcoin Expert Advisors, I think this is your best choice! Also, many courses like Ethereum trading robot + 99 Expert Advisors, How to trade Forex with 100 GBPUSD strategies in the account and so on. In the description, you can see which courses are updating every month.

Also, all courses from the Academy are updating whenever it is needed.

The newest course from the Academy, which was updated with new lectures is Top EA Forex: Top 10 EURUSD Expert Advisors. I am so satisfied with this course. I strongly recommend to you if you want to trade with EURUSD Expert Advisors.

Cheers and have a great day!

    Hello,

I personally stick to 200 000k bars on M1 and M5, and with the rest, as much as possible, but not longer than 3 years.

I really do not want to base my strategy on data from 5-10 years back.

Regarding the OOS, I use 10 or 20%. This feature is number 1 in EA Studio 🙂

I used Strategy Quant sometime ago but compared to EA Studio it is much more complicated strategy builder software and it is really hard to make robust EAs as you say.

Actually there is a Walk Forward in EA Studio already. Here is a free video about it from Petko:

    Hey Petko,

you are right, the profits with Expert Advisors depend on so many things but having the Expert Advisor studio on our side is a HUGE thing!

I am sure the software will be updated more with the time, and the BEST thing for me is that there is a lifetime license. I have couple of programs for my work, and they are all on a yearly subscription. That sucks! This is called ”milking”. In order to use the programs I have to pay every year…

I am glad there is the lifetime license for EA Studio and FSB Pro because I do not feel in rush to use it, I have all the time in the world. 🙂
