    Good afternoon Simon,

Depending on the Broker 400-500 EA’s in PE would be the max. So for my Broker FXchoice, i can only run 4 PE’s of 100 strats at a time. If i clear out the bottom feeders quickly then it’ll free up some space but this is what i’ve found.

I agree with Petko, I actually had SQ and FSB/EAS at the same time in testing December of 2017. Went with EAS/FSB in January 2018, a lot easier to navigate and work with. EA Studios i think had just came out with Ractor at that time lol I feel old already.

    Good evening Dkoh,

I like Andi’s method, at the end of the day it all depends on you in order to determine “when to remove”. But its normal to have a day when you have a spike down and then up. As long as the EA’s individually haven’t broken your trading criteria then there’s no need to worry/remove them. Fluctuations in the market happen, its Dynamic. If your back testing and forward testing are in alignment give them time to work.

    Happy New Year’s Andi!

I’ve been trying it on and off, but it’s really difficult to follow the profit factor since the strategy is always taking different position sizing. So my idea was to manually adjust the position size on live as the account balance increased. Then continue to follow the static position sizing on demo to ensure the strategy is still working. Let me know your thoughts!

    Hey Gordon,

For some weird reason i can’t see Andi’s response. But if you place a moving average “rising” or “price above” this will help you filter long only trades when this condition is true, same will be true when the market is trending down (or any other momentum/trend indi you like). It’ll mirror. FSB you can use the higher time frame by selecting in when you place the condition into the indicator slots. Hope this helps.

P.S. The software is really good at reading this already, from my experience if it didn’t place the above example into any of the slots it’s deemed it unnecessary. One of my EA’s from EA Studios since the beginning of 2019 only took 42 trades the entire year, 60% win rate with 1.2 profit factor even through the Brexit nonsense on GJ using the above example. My UJ top strategy has 64% win rate, 1.7 profit factor and doesn’t use any trend filtering, purely reactor. Trust the software and play around with the settings to find what you like 🙂

    Happy Saturday,

Simon when you import them back into EA studios you don’t lose the magic number unless you export it again (just dump the collections when you’re done looking at the strategies by pressing the trash can at the top right corner). The magic number will just stay the same. When you upload and put all the EA’s for the pair into the portfolio you can see the contents (if you select the correlations in options it’ll display equity line and trading rules correlations) as they currently are running in your MT5, and then you can see their performance as an aggregate portfolio when you are in the “summary” tab.

To Andi’s point you can just sit on the collection for a few months and then re-upload them. But for me, i like to have them in demo so i know they are acting on the correct market structure before i put them live. This also helps me track their performance without bias. So at the end of the day you get to create your own “style” in work flow 🙂

    Good morning Simon,

Happy New Year, did you try uploading the strategies back into portfolio in order to see exactly which strategies are showing correlation with each other? In my opinion there will always be a bit of correlation overall since we’re scanning the same markets over and over using the same horizon periods for the most part. I think as long as the portfolio you take live is showing minimal similarities in the strategies (different rules, sl, tp etc) you should be fine. I just looked at my demo account and saw a lot of my new strategies taking the same direction as some of my older strategies that are still working from the beginning of 2019. This helps give me confidence in the newbie strats. Hope this helps?

    Hey Petko,

Thats a crazy number to think about when you put it out there like that. 2000 free EA’s just for being a part of a single coarse. Keep up the great work!

No problem Facundo. Just keep running the generator/reactor as much as you can to get a good feel for what settings you like.
