I succeeded to download some data from the broker, but still not sure if I can use it.But for the moment, the easiest thing you can do is leave Meta Trader opened, and it collects the new Histroical data. Sometimes I download the hst files, to make sure I wont lose them.
When I create strategies, I just drop the scripts over the charts.

Interesting topic about the FSB here. I actually succeeded to download some historical data from my broker, they have it on their website. And on M1 I have more than 650k bars. I am not sure if so many bars would be good idea?3
Also, how can I be sure that this Historical data is from the server I am using for the broker?

Make sure it is worthy to do that. I have paid 4-5 times to developers to build me indicators. No results at the end. I learned to use the strategy builders as they find the best combinations of indicators.
Also, you can not rely a strategy on single indicator, you will need to combine it, and it will get harder and harder with the time as you will need to add changes.
The method that Petko shows in most of his courses where he places many EAs in one account and separates those that are profiting currently, made me realize that it is useless and time consuming to look for solutions with custom indicator.

I have taken the 19 courses from Petko. It is been hard time to arrange all strategies, needed to buy second machine and monitor, but its worthy. I am second month on profit, and I do believe that it will continue.
Thanks for all shared strategies, expert advisors and trading courses, Petko! I am waiting for the new one.I have noticed that as well. I had to collect data two times for one broker…I feel they work really against the client when it comes to algo trading, with these small tricks. Also, the small Historical data when a new account is opened! Why?
It is a rhetorical question. obviously because if we have a lot data, we will have robust strategies from the start!
It is really all about testing and testing and testing…
what I found for me to be successful is to keep generating EAs daily, testing them, and placing on live, and removing from live, and all repeats again.
However, I more and more start to trust EA Studio, and I want to remove completely the Demo testing. Petko says in his last course that the Validator does the same job, and I have convinced in that by myself, but still I want to see the EAs first showing profit on Demo and then on Live. Because he profit that we miss to take on live is too big – 10 trades in positive is something great, that I want to see on live and not on the Demo first
Petko, a silly question from me.
Is it smart to use the GBPUSD EA from your Top 5 course on other currencies if I optimize this EAs over the Historical data of the other pairs?
Simply, this strategy made me most profit, and I was wondering if I that is fine?

To be honest, there is not precise answer to that question. I am not sure if even Petko will give an exact answer. It really depends on so many things.
I have been using the FSB Pro for nearly 3 years, and EA Studio for one, and I am still looking for the golden middle when to place the EAs on live. Same when to remove them back to demo…
What I have learned from Petko’s courses( I have them all and I am waiting every month for a new one) is that strict rule should be there. For example, if you say that you will wait 2 weeks it should be 2 weeks. I did the mistake to place them earlier because of quick profits on Demo.
But I prefer more the method shown in the Forex strategy course, where Petko teaches to wait number of opened trades, and not time. Because specially the higher time frames as M30 and H1, do not open so many trades for 1-2 weeks period of time. It is just more logical to me to wait at least 10 trades to be opened and closed, to make a conclusion for the EAs. Obviously, if one-two trades are opened, even for 2 weeks, it is not enough for me.

AndiPetko, a silly question from me. If the EA Studio is web based, does it mean that we can use it in many broker or not? I see that FSB Pro comes with number of licenses, so If I take one, I need to use it on one computer only? What about EA Studio?

Petko, I come back to you in few months. You were right that the exchnages will crash, I lost quite a lot of money(actually all I have earned). So now I am back to the zero. However now I will follow your courses and learn. Wished I listened o you earlier to take the profits and run from there..
